What a great weekend! Jackie came to visit from Milan, Italy on Thursday and we had a jam-packed weekend. We started it off here in Granada with a tour of the city, where I showed her the statue of Cristobal Colón, Gran Vía and some of my favorite spots in the city. We finished the afternoon paseo (that's a walk here in Spain) with Gofres from my favorite spot near Corte Ingles. I got my gofre (a waffle-like treat) with Nutella and Jackie with syrup and ice cream. Yum! We then headed over to a live Flamenco show up in the "caves" of the Sacramonte. Que bueno! Friday we spent part of the day touring the outskirts of the Alhambra, the huge Moorish castle that overlooks the city of Granada.

-Museu de Prado (saw goya and many other famous paintings including adam and eve)

-Went to see a show in the La Latina Theater

-Took a bus tour and saw everything
